Romania: Knauf Gips Romania expects to commission its upcoming €88m, 30Mm2/yr gypsum wallboard plant in Huedin, Cluj county, by the end of 2027. Bursa.ro News has reported that construction of the plant's foundations is complete, its structural framework is 65% built and roof installation underway. The plant will use natural gypsum from the nearby Leghia-Dumbrava quarries, 15km away, and employ 80 people.
