Brazil: Trevo Drywall plans to more than double the capacity of its Juazeiro do Norte gypsum wallboard plant to 50Mm²/yr by 2031. The producer is automating and expanding the plant’s existing line up to 20Mm²/yr, scheduled for commissioning later in April 2026. At the same time, it has begun project development for a second, 30Mm²/yr line on adjoining land.

CEO Wilson Soares said "The dry construction market continues to grow steadily, and demand for quality, certified products is rising accordingly. Our decision to expand capacity reflects both our confidence in the sector and Trevo's commitment to leading the advance of industrialised construction in Brazil."
